The Faces of Family Farming Photo Contest 2026 shines a spotlight on the inspiring initiatives and achievements of APFP-FO4A partner Farmers’ Organizations, and honors the vital role of family farmers in agricultural, economic, and social development.

🌱 Agroecology / Climate-Resilient Agriculture
🤝 Cooperatives and Agri-Enterprises
🌳 Rights to Natural Resources
👩🌾 Women Empowerment
👨🌾 Youth in Agriculture
📸 Photo Categories:
Portraits – Capture family farmers in action: planting, seeding, harvesting, processing, marketing, cooking, or working on farms, forests, or gardens.
Landscapes – Highlight the beauty of your surroundings: farms, gardens, forests, grazing lands, and local environments.
There is no limit to the number of submissions per organization. However, the RIA will select the top three photos from your entries to be included as finalists in the contest.
Voting will take place during the APFP-FO4A Regional Wrap-up in Jakarta, Indonesia. Exciting prizes await the winners of this photo contest!
What to submit
- Digital color photo in JPEG or PNG format with a minimum resolution of 200 dpi/inch and a capacity of 1MB to 5Mb
- Title and caption or description of the photo
- Send the photo as an e-mail attachment or via applications (e.g. WeTransfer, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.) to maintain the resolution
Who can join
Farmers’ organizations under the APFP-FO4A program implemented by AFA-LVC
Reminders
- Photographer/project staff must obtain consent from the person/s appearing in the photograph
- Photo must be taken by a member of the organization or project staff and does not infringe the copyright of third parties
- Include photo credit in your photo/s (can be the organization or the person who took the photo)
- To join, submit digital copies of their photos on or before 6 February 2026 via email to afairish@asianfarmers.org.
