The COAST Foundation, serving as the APFP-FO4A national implementing agency (NIA) in Bangladesh, organized a significant national-level workshop on “Access to Finance and Access to Market” for farmers held from 24-25 December 2023 in Gazipur, Bangladesh.
Leaders representing a spectrum of Farmers’ Organizations (FOs) from across the country convened to highlight the pressing need for farmers to access loans from diverse financial institutions. This workshop will help capacitate FOs in order for them to better serve their members.
In addition, prioritizing organizational capacity development is linked with the adoption of climate-smart technologies. NIA Bangladesh also facilitates the transfer and adoption of climate-adaptive technologies to ensure a sustainable agricultural future.
