Smallholder farmers in Cambodia produce chickens to earn income for their livelihood. In these photos, they show how chickens are raised on their farms and prepared for selling to the market.
The chickens are raised on a family farm where they roam around freely 
The animals are given food aside from what they could find on the farm. 
Once the chickens reach maturity, they are slaughtered and cleaned before bringing to the market for selling. 
Farmers do the cleaning of the slaughtered chickens together, which they will sell collectively. 
The agricultural cooperative, in which the family farmers are members, help the farmers sell their chicken products by adding value to these such as this grilled chickens.
