On 18-19 October 2024, the National Association of Mongolian Agricultural Cooperatives (NAMAC), the National Implementing Agency of the APFP-FO4A program, hosted its National Transition Planning and Workshop at its headquarters in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The event brought together representatives from 10 national farmers’ organizations under the APFP-FO4A program and delegates from the Regional Implementing Agency, AFA.
Key Outcomes of the Transition Planning and Workshop:
Capacity Building in Marketing and Promotion: NAMAC will prioritize enhancing its capacity in marketing, with a focus on branding and promotional strategies. These efforts aim to bolster the visibility and competitiveness of its cooperatives in the market.
Market Expansion Initiatives: To support cooperatives in expanding their reach, NAMAC will work on product certification and profiling while facilitating the establishment of storage facilities to improve supply chain efficiency.
Financial Management Support: NAMAC plans to strengthen the financial management of its members by offering consultancy services and providing comprehensive financial reporting solutions.
