The Khudaabad Farmers Cooperative Society in Pakistan has launched a poultry initiative aimed at boosting livelihoods in the community. As part of the project, 150 small farmers in Khudaabad received egg-laying chickens to support supplementary income generation and household nutrition.

To show their support and witness the progress firsthand, Melad Ul Jabbar, Manager of Business Development at Agribusiness Support Fund, and Ehsan Ali, President of the Regional Farmers Organization – Gilgit, visited the village during the distribution activity.

This initiative is supported by the ARISE Program, which is implemented by the Asian Farmers’ Association for Sustainable Rural Development (AFA).
