Lao Farmer Network welcomed high ranking government officials including the President of Laos H.E Bounyang Vorachit, Deputy Prime Minister H.E Sonexay Siphandone, H.E Lien Thikeo of the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry and other officials to see products of small holder farmers of the network at the national meeting hall held on 5- 7 March 2018.
With support from MTCPII/AFOSP, the network supported its farmer organization members to transform to agriculture cooperatives, led by young farmers. The products exhibited include high fiber rice, organic vegetables ready for hotpot, coffee soap, kimchi, turmeric and ginger tea.
