I am Pham Tuấn Anh, 30 years old, born and raised in Yen My district, Hung Yen province, Vietnam. Currently, I am engaged in agriculture together with my family.

In the 4.0 era, Vietnam agriculture faces many great challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. These include export policy, capital policy, and startup policy for young farmers.

On behalf of young farmers, I propose some policies to address the above challenges:

  1. Export policy: The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development should have policies to support young farmers in exporting their agricultural products as well as selling their goods for domestic consumption.
  2. Capital policy: The Ministry should provide price support to farmers in difficult times such as during pandemic, for goods that cannot be sold, or when market prices fall. Pay attention to young farmers who are starting a business. Provide support loans and create stable development conditions for them to start a business.

If the above policies are implemented, I will be the first one to implement and mobilize local young farmers to engage in agriculture and starting agri-business to contribute to the development of Vietnam’s agriculture sector.
