SRI LANKA – SANASA and MONLAR signed an MOA for implementing APFP-FO4A in 2022

On 8 May 2022, SANASA International entered into a formal partnership with MONLAR to implement the Smart Farmers project (APFP/FO4A). The project aims to improve the capacities of the farm organizations to engage with policymakers to create an enabling environment for smallholder farmers to improve their businesses. MONLAR will engage with the project to improve the businesses of 15 farm organizations to engage in sustainable food production and market-oriented agribusiness. They will also support SANASA International to improve the capacity of the farm organizations to lobby and do advocacy on behalf of smallholder farmers.
