I am writing this letter to express my special interest in helping young farmers start a business today.

I am not a young farmer; I am a farmer’s association staff. I am currently working at the Center for Vocational Training and Farmers Support in Ninh Binh province. Accompanying the farmers, I can observe that the farmers remain industrious, enthusiastic, and creative throughout the generation. I admire the farmers around me a lot.

However, I noticed that among farmers, especially the youth, entrepreneurship seems to be just an endless discussion of their dreams, and all their ideals and enthusiasm boil down to a lack of capital to start up an agri-business.

Moreover, business in agriculture is also extremely risky. I have seen young people enthusiastically returning to the countryside, rejoicing with the start-up story, but found themselves “falling apart”, encumbered by difficulties.

One of the risks in business is forced majeure, thus, it is necessary to be equipped with the skills to turn risks into opportunities, and the ability to minimize the consequences from high to the lowest possible setback.

The necessary knowledge, practical support for young farmers in the start-up process is extremely necessary, it desires and recommends resources to pay attention to the problem of start-up farmers. We need to get started on this right away.
